Points positifs : The accommodation was a last-minute choice due to the Le Tour crowds down in the valley. Fortunately, the apartment turned out to be exactly what we had hoped for. The small mountain village of Peisey-Nancroix has a unique charm and offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities in a breathtaking alpine setting. It could easily become our top pick for a longer stay—perhaps during the winter season.

Best value ski accomodation!

Points positifs : This lovely accomodation was fabulous value for a family of 4 looking wanting to stay near enough to the ski resort not to have to drive or get a bus, but far enough away not to break the bank. The kitchen was small, but had absolutely everything you needed to cook. It was clean and there was a good amount of storage to shove jackets and suitcases out of the way. Beds were comfortable. The village itself is lovely and has nice food shops.

Points négatifs : Overall, nothing to complain about. The place itself is small, but that was expected. The bunk beds, which you can tell from the photos are in the corridor, are also across from the only bathroom - so if your kids are light sleepers that can be a pain (ours aren't, and it wasn't). The lift up to the main ski resort is slow and in the busy season apparently lines can be long - in mid-April it was easy and no problem at all. They are looking to replace it with something higher speed so this won't be a problem soon. The host forgot to send us the check-in instructions (or we didn't receive them) so we were flying a bit blind on arrivalm but they were super responsive when needed. If you don't have any details by the day of, best to follow up before arriving.

Hervorragende Ausgangslage für Skiurlaub in einem grandiosen Skigebiet

Points positifs : Der Ort Peisey-Nancroix liegt ideal zwischen den beiden Skigebieten Les Arcs und La Plagne, die mit einem Dorf-Transportlift problemlos in 6 min zu erreichen sind. Im Ort gibt es eine Bäckerei, einen kleinen Supermarkt, eine Käserei. Der Ort ist ganz ursprünglich: alte Bauernhäuser, keine Hochhäuser, keine Touristenhochburg!

Points négatifs : Die Wohnung ist für 2 Personen von der Größe her okay, es gibt zwar mehr Betten, aber zu mehr Personen würde man sich wohl gegenseitig viel im Weg stehen. Das Doppelbett würde ich mir etwas breiter wünschen. Die Ski haben wir auf den Balkon gestellt; einen Skikeller für Ski und Schuhe haben wir nicht gefunden.
