Great place to stay in Arc 1950

Points positifs : All apartments in Arc 1950 are in a variety of purpose built complexes, ours had reception during peak hours and a contact number for off-peak. The was a boot room for skis etc which you could literally ski in & out, out brings you immediataly to two lifts, Marmotte & Bois de L'Ours . Staff at Auberge Jérôme were always on hand, friendly and helpful. The apartment was was generally spacious except for the second bedroom which was a very narrow room with a bunk-bed. We knew this when booking and as we had one older teenage child with us this time it was OK. That bedroom would not be suitable for two older children / adults. The rest of the apartment is well appointed and we would stay there again.

Points négatifs : Nothing, it was a good choice of accommodation.

Great ski in / ski out property

Points positifs : We loved the location of Auberge Jerome and the property itself was brilliant. The master bedroom is very large for a ski resort and the second bedroom (bunk beds) is small but perfectly was perfectly functional for our children (9 & 11 yrs). The bathroom is a good size and the kitchen/lounge was perfect to relax after a long day skiing. The ski locker room opens directly on to the slope and is a very short ski from Marmottes and Bois de l'Ours ski lifts and a few more minutes down hill to Pré-Saint-Esprit and Comborcière lifts, so excellent connectivity. We really enjoyed our stay.

Points positifs : Appartement itself - very good! A lot of space, comfortable and well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom. 2nd beadroom is really small, but we knew it from pictures, so we were ready for that. Village is amazing, great place for family ski vacation. Real ski in/out.

Points négatifs : Auberge Jérôme building itsel is not that great. Ski lockers are not heated so you can leave yor ski there but not ski boots - it will get cold and wet next morning. Spa is small, not to come in rush hours. Outdoor pool is heated to a temperature that is good for after sauna swim but not more than that. Same about outdoor jacuzzi - it must be heated more to enjoy it at below 0 temperatures. And sauna that was heated to 50C and after multiple complants was brought to 70C is not funny!
